Tea + Jesse – Wedding

We’re back for 2011 and (if we may say so) better than ever!  And we are SO excited that one of our first blog postings of the new year is the PHENOMENAL wedding of Tea and Jesse shot by our superb California photographer, Michael.  This has to be one of the most whimsical, creative weddings we have ever seen here at OLAS, and we couldn’t help but squeal with delight over the unexpected and beautiful details of this precious couple’s big day!  From the guy’s boutonnieres to the girl’s vintage-key necklaces to their unique and stellar “bouquets” to the one of the cutest wedding toppers we’ve ever seen AND to the uber in-love bride and groom, this wedding is perfection (I could go on and on with the ‘to the’s') :)  There were a ton more shots we could have put in this blog posting, so be sure to check out the full slideshow at http://california.oncelikeaspark.com!

To start, probably the most creative and whimsical boutonnieres OF ALL TIME.

The blushing bride arm-in-arm with her proud parents :)  And check out the “bouquets” of the bridesmaids!  We love!!

Probably one of the most touching shots we’ve ever seen.  Just so, so beautiful.

You can just tell how moving Tea and Jesse’s vows must have been…

And don’t you just adore the groomsmen in their bow ties and sweaters? :)

Such cutesy stockings and shoes….and the vintage key necklaces that each bridesmaid wore.  So creative!

What a precious shot of Tea, Jesse and their wedding party!

And some equally wonderful couples shots.  How can you not help but smile at these two lovebirds??

Details are everything at a wedding, and we think Tea and Jesse nailed these to perfection!!  We love the window-pane seating chart, torn pages for the centerpieces, and the adorable wedding topper!

And now, a riddle: one of these things is not like the other, but one of these things makes all the other things more delicious.  Can you guess what I am?? :)

But seriously.  How DELISH do all of these goodies look??

Love this one of Tea and Jesse laughing!

First dance as man and wife :)  How CUTE are these pics??

Great shots of Tea and Jesse giving a bottle of wine to Jesse’s great uncle (their officiant!)….and a great, big hug to go with it!

Can’t help but smile at all the toast reactions….you can tell they were really wonderful toasts, too.

Cake time!

Their reception was full of good food, great dancin’, and a lot of laughter and love :)

We can imagine that after all that food and dancing, a nice cup of coffee on the back porch would be the perfect thing…

Not to mention, it sets the stage for some pretty awesome couples shots :)

We like to quote Rachel Zoe sometimes with her fave saying “I DIE” when something is especially wonderful.  We’d like to use it for this one.  WE DIE :)

Congratulations, Tea and Jesse!!  Thank you so, so much for letting (once like a spark) and Michael be a part of your whimsical, beautiful, wedding day!
