Jackie + Mike – Wedding

We’re certainly racking up our frequent flyer points lately here at OLAS, and we’re loving every minute of it. Seriously – how amazing is it that we all get to fly all over the country, getting to know and love on all of our amazing clients and be a part of one of the single most important days of their life? Sigh. We just are so, so blessed, and want to thank you all, again, for letting us be a part of your amazing wedding journeys. Our absolutely amazing Roya flew from Chicago all the way over to Gettysburg, PA for Jackie and Mike’s absolutely gorgeous wedding and reception, located at The Links at Gettysburg.

Here are the top things we LOVED about Jackie + Mike’s special day:

1 – Jackie and Mike picked a dark pink and a light yellow for their wedding colors, and we LOVE the way it was incorporated throughout all of their decor. It gave the day such a bright, springy, light, happy feeling – exactly what a wedding is all about!

2 – We absolutely love when our couples throw flower petals at the end of a ceremony, when the bride and groom are walking out of the ceremony down the aisle. I know this sounds SO obscure, but it makes for the best.pictures.ever. In fact, some of our fav OLAS photos ever are the result of petal throwing at the end of a ceremony. In this case, Jackie and Mike were just so happy, and that joy comes shining through. Such fun photos! Brides-to-be: consider this idea.

3 – Mike’s sweet face as he watches his bride head down the aisle. So amazingly sweet. We get a little teary looking a them – so much emotion!

4 – The AMAZING bridge at the venue. Enough said.
