Theresa Anne + Brian – Engagement

I just can’t help but swoon over this gorgeous engagement session done by our southeast extraordinaire, Sara. These pictures of the adorable Theresa Anne and Brian were taken at Callanwolde in Atlanta. I love the warm, neutral colors of the first set of these shots – the colors really work to bring out the warmth of Theresa Anne’s beautiful, beautiful long dark hair (hair envy!!), and Brian’s crystal blue eyes. And the pink in the second set really POPS! Theresa Anne and Brian’s sweet, fun personalities shine through in these pictures – they were game for a lot at Callanwolde – they climbed some trees, and dealt with a few other little adventures

Joanna + Brian – Engagement

This engagement shoot with the beautiful Joanna and her charming fiance, Brian, was the second time I have shot at Georgia Tech. Again, I have to admit begrudgingly (Go Dawgs!) that the campus made for an awesome backdrop in capturing the love and warmth of this amazing couple. Joanna is actually an old friend from high school (D-Town, represent!), and it’s been awhile since we’ve seen her. She is as gorgeous and glowing as she always has been, and upon meeting Brian, we knew that if anyone is good enough for sweet Joanna, it’s him. They just fit together. It’s always easy to shoot any couple who are simply head over heels for each other, and these two are just that. Their happiness (and laughter!) emanate from their pictures. Kori + Chris – Wedding

Kori and Chris have a story that is just about as cute as they are – they have known each other since middle school (!!), and started dating in high school. They are true high school sweethearts who have survived the test of time (and lots of other things too – including the awkwardness of 7th grade, and of Chris’s parents going on their first date with them!).

These two lovebirds were married on January 9th at the North American Mission Board, which proved to be a gorgeous backdrop for an equally beautiful ceremony . Check out the multi-story windows, glowing with dusk, in front of which Kori and Chris were wed – a photographer’s dream!

Katie + Karsten

I just CANNOT stop looking at this latest, gorgeous engagement session from our seriously talented California photographer, Michael (california.oncelikeaspark.com). After working with this beautiful couple, we’re all kind of in love with Katie and Karsten. These pictures match their awesome styles perfectly, with just the right amount of class and quirky attitude.

Karsten popped the question in Alamo Park, which provided an ideal location to kick off their sesh with Michael. Check out all of their pictures below.

Elizabeth + Jeremy

Meet Elizabeth and Jeremy, a SUPER-talented, super-sweet couple that got married in Elizabeth’s hometown in North Carolina this past December. Elizabeth and Jeremy are both amazingly gifted musicians, and met in school in NYC at the Manhattan School of Music. They both still call NYC home, though they play in several orchestras. We love clients with an appreciation for all things artistic, and these two totally fit the bill! When we arrived in Elizabeth’s hometown of Fayetteville, we headed over to hang with the girls in their hotel room. They were in a frenzy and were finishing up the whole getting-ready process. Elizabeth was a cool as a cucumber!

The beautiful bridesmaid in the mirror is Elizabeth’s younger sister and maid-of-honor. Cute story….Elizabeth’s MOH and Jeremy’s best man met at their engagement party in NYC, and have been dating ever since !

And now meet Jeremy, our handsome groom. Jeremy is a native New Yorker, and kept us cracking up during our time hanging out with him. Downtown Fayetteville had some really cool spots with lots of visual interest – we loved this old industrial-looking building.

…and the ladies. We have to give MAJOR credit to these ladies for sticking it out. It was FREEZING outside (even for these NYC girls!), but Elizabeth had thought ahead and given all of the girls pashminas to wear over their dresses.

Again – really cool textures and colors all over downtown Fayetteville. We loved this light blue wall – it seemed perfect for a winter wedding!

Elizabeth and Jeremy’s ceremony was a really gorgeous, very personalized one that left us teary-eyed. They included one of our very favorite readings (The Desiderata), and all of the deep colors were perfect for this holiday celebration. One of the best parts of the evening was the music that was performed before the ceremony. Elizabeth and Jeremy invited several of their friends and family members (all of which are crazy talented musicians) to play and sing before the ceremony began. Guests were invited to arrive 45 minutes early, and were treated to a beautiful showcase of gorgeous music.

Kristina + Jonathan

Alright, friends, I know we’ve been awfully quiet for a stretch of time now, but after an absolutely insane couple of weeks (with a trip to Paris thrown in there somewhere…), we are live and on air! We’re jumping back into things with a post of Kristina and Jonathan’s beautiful winter wedding, shot by our one-and-only, ever amazing New England photographer, Graham.
