Emily + Dan – Engagement in Chicago
When Emily and Dan contacted us about their engagement photos, we immediately knew that this was going to be a fun shoot. They had TONS of amazing ideas about their photos, and really wanted their shoot to reflect some of the things they do in Chicago on a day-to-day basis. Of course, our crazy talented Chicago photographer, Roya Jade (www.chicago.oncelikeaspark.com) came up with ideas one after the other, and we were all really looking forward to seeing the final result. Emily and Dan are both self-proclaimed foodies, so they wanted to get some unique shots enjoying their favorite pastime, as you’ll see below. Roya Jade loved getting to know these sweet couple over a meal in one of their favorite restaurants (while capturing some really cool images at the same time) They also spent some time just walking around Chicago – some of our favorite images are on the train. Katie + Mark – Engagement
It’s another amazing session from our superstar West Coast team, Ashley and Chris (www.westcoast.oncelikeaspark.com). The entire (once like a spark) team has absolutely LOVED getting to know Katie and Mark. From our first phone call, to our sit down meetings, to our planning phone calls and meetings, these two have been such a joy to work with. Ashley and Chris met up with Katie and Mark in late February for their classic San Fran e-session, and the result is nothing less than stunning. Katie and Mark met through a previous job, and after about 5 years, the two decided to tie the knot. Mark is from Alabama, so they were planning their wedding with TONS of out of town guests. Stay tuned for images from this couples gorgeous wedding in early April, but in the meantime, enjoy their engagement photos!

Sara + Chris – Engagement
We met with Sara and Chris in the much loved Virginia Highlands, on what turned out to be a beautiful day amidst a stretch of otherwise very glum weather. Sara and Chris are a beautiful and unique couple – Sara is an event coordinator, and Chris is a chef (lucky girl)! Naturally, food plays a very important role in their lives, and they sure are going to be having some awesome food at their wedding – these two are getting married at the très cool Canoe in Atlanta.
Sara and Chris were super easy and fun to be around, and even though Chris was not so down with the whole engagement photo thing to begin with, they both ended up being naturals! The color and urban chic feel of Virginia Highlands lent itself perfectly to Sara and Chris’s classy, fun vibe, not to mention worked great with Sara’s pretty red sweater 
I love all of these pictures, and especially the series in the old telephone booth!

Theresa Anne + Brian – Engagement
I just can’t help but swoon over this gorgeous engagement session done by our southeast extraordinaire, Sara. These pictures of the adorable Theresa Anne and Brian were taken at Callanwolde in Atlanta. I love the warm, neutral colors of the first set of these shots – the colors really work to bring out the warmth of Theresa Anne’s beautiful, beautiful long dark hair (hair envy!!), and Brian’s crystal blue eyes. And the pink in the second set really POPS! Theresa Anne and Brian’s sweet, fun personalities shine through in these pictures – they were game for a lot at Callanwolde – they climbed some trees, and dealt with a few other little adventures

Joanna + Brian – Engagement
This engagement shoot with the beautiful Joanna and her charming fiance, Brian, was the second time I have shot at Georgia Tech. Again, I have to admit begrudgingly (Go Dawgs!) that the campus made for an awesome backdrop in capturing the love and warmth of this amazing couple. Joanna is actually an old friend from high school (D-Town, represent!), and it’s been awhile since we’ve seen her. She is as gorgeous and glowing as she always has been, and upon meeting Brian, we knew that if anyone is good enough for sweet Joanna, it’s him. They just fit together. It’s always easy to shoot any couple who are simply head over heels for each other, and these two are just that. Their happiness (and laughter!) emanate from their pictures.
