Eunhye + Herbert – Posh Ft. Lauderdale Hyatt Regency Pier 66 Wedding
We love, love, love bringing you posh, modern weddings, and do we have a gorgeous one for you today! Graham, our over-the-top talented New England photographer, hopped on a plane and flew all the day down to Ft. Lauderdale to shoot Eunhye + Herbert’s big day. It’s a little hard for us Georgia girls to showcase some of these photos – Let’s just say that Herbert is a HUGE sports fan, and these two are University of Florida alums. Look close, and you’ll see some Gator chomps and some major Tebowing (ha!) Eunhye + Herbert chose to have both their wedding and reception at the Hyatt Regency Pier 66, and the venue could NOT have been more gorgeous. The soft light, the to-die for flowers, and the city views made for some pretty sweet ambiance…. Even with all of the glitz and the glam, Eunhye and Herbert had to include some elements of their alma mater and Southern roots, and they did so in blue and orange seating cards, and an amazing BBQ rub as a favor (the packaging was perfect!) These lovebirds have actually been together 12 years (!!) and this wedding was a celebration that was a long-time coming. We’re so glad that you guys chose Graham and (once like a spark) to be a part of it all! xoxo

Anne Marie + Alan :: A South Carolina Coastal Wedding
Hello lovelies!
We have quite the OLAS wedding blog treat for you today; we have what we believe might be the most perfect combination of dress, shoes, and hair & makeup for a spring or summer wedding. Ok, ok – we know there’s no perfect match out there that works for everyone, but we are all obsessing over how gorgeous Anne Marie looks in all of her photos. I guess we should also mention that Jen (our beautiful and incredibly talented Atlanta Photographer) made the trip up to South Carolina and literally couldn’t have done a better job! We just love how she uses all the natural beauty and colors of the beach to effortlessly bring out the most beautiful aspects of Anne Marie + Alan’s wedding. AM + A can best be described as jet-setters, and have spent most of their relationship long distance. After going between NYC, DC and South Carolina (not to mention that Alan’s family is in Ireland, so we have to throw that in the mix too!) they are so excited to finally be married – and in one place! Ok, so onto what we just LOVE about Anne Marie’s whole wedding look:
1. Oh, that dress! :: Could it be more beautiful? We just love the classic elegance tied in with the fun little flirty twist of the tulle gatherings at the shoulders! Gorgeous & fun all tied into one. :)
2. Kate Spade’s got that sparkle down to an art :: We literally can’t get enough of these Kate Spade shoes. They’re just the right amount of fun & whimsy and look amazing with the tulle of her dress and that red toe nail polish! Remember, the little details are what can make the biggest difference!
3. Effortless hair, makeup & accessories :: Anne Marie did such a great job letting her natural beauty do the talking. We’re all firm believers that you don’t want to look too overly made up on your wedding day – you just want to look like the very best version of yourself! Anne Marie chose an elegant and non-fussy updo, very simple jewelry, kept the make up understated and then added a gorgeous ‘pop of color’ pink lip. Just enough effort, while making it look absolutely effortless.
Thank you so much for letting us be a part of your wedding day AM + A! Lots of OLAS love! x’s & o’s

Yesterday we brought you Part 1 of Bonnie + Emory’s beautiful Savannah wedding, and now it’s time for Part 2. Part of the reason we here at OLAS love this wedding so much is because of its southern sophistication. While we may not all live in the deep south any longer, most of us on the OLAS team grew up as GRITS (girls raised in the south) and love us a good southern wedding. Bonnie + Emory’s is the perfect example of how to balance that southern charm with a lot of sophistication. Here are a few tips from your OLAS GRITS:
1. When in doubt, go historical :: We southern folk love our history, and B + E chose both a ceremony and reception site just dripping with it. The chapel is part of the Bethesda Home For Boys School which began as an orphanage for colonial children back in 1740! It has both the distinction for being the oldest child caring institution in the country and was supported by Benjamin Franklin. Amazing. Secondly, they chose the Grand Ballroom at the Olde Pink House for their reception, which was built for one of Savannah’s most prominent founding-family members. Historical? Check, check!
2. Have flower girls, and lots of them :: There just isn’t anything more sweet than a little girl all dressed in white throwing petals around… well, except for maybe three! We southern belles love our traditions and this is one we can’t get enough of. Bonus – have them wear sweet little leafy crowns, they’ll adore you for it and your photos will be doubly precious.
3. Choose a dress that is romantic, but also a little glam :: Bonnie chose a form fitting dress with subtle scalloped edges, a dramatic train, and lots of gorgeous beadwork. The effect? Classic, romantic, and a statement! GRITS know the importance of standing out in a crowd (especially on your wedding day!), but also the art of never looking like you tried too hard. We all think Bonnie pulled this off flawlessly.
By the way, get ready to be blown away by the couples shots. Our southeastern photographers continually out-do themselves! Amazing. x’s & o’s

Hello loves!
We are so happy to get to bring you Part 1 of Bonnie + Emory’s southern Savannah, Ga wedding today! From the moment we saw these stunning photographs, we were dying to blog them and share them with y’all too. First things first, a little bit about B + E. While Savannah isn’t actually either of their hometowns, it still holds a very special place in their hearts. After the wedding, this would be where they would share their first year of marriage together AND (probably more importantly!), it’s where Emory proposed! They even decided to have their reception at the Old Pink House –> the place Emory took Bonnie for dinner together the very night of the big proposal! Savannah is soaked in sweet memories for these two love birds and we think they couldn’t have picked a better place to get hitched! Our southeast photog headed down to this historic southern city to capture B + E’s special day, and did such a beautiful job. The photos below are breathtaking – we could have done a whole post on bridal shots of Bonnie alone!! Get ready to be blown away.
Part 2 coming soon!! xoxo
p.s. Did we mention how talented, artistic, creative and special our OLAS brides are? Well, for example - Bonnie MADE her gorgeous wedding day earrings! A-mazing.

Carrie + Chris :: GA Wedding Part 2 :: Personalized DIY
Hi again!
We just couldn’t wait any longer to bring you Part 2 of Carrie and Chris’s beautiful GA Wedding, so here it is! If you have yet to check out Part 1, do so now and then head back here. C + C really wanted their wedding to feel intimate and welcoming, and we just love all of the little personal DIY touches they included that really worked to pull it all off. Remember that gorgeous garter photo from Part 1? Homemade! Additionally, they used these adorable little twine penant banners, customized with their names, that were so.crazy.cute in their photos together. Another idea they had, was to bring mini chalk boards to write on and use during their couples shots. These are the kinds of personal touches that can make your wedding photos have that little extra something special you’re hoping for. Tracy (our CA photographer who flew in especially for C+C), did such a great job using these throughout the session – just wait till you see! One of the things Carrie said to us during the planning process, was that while she’d still like to have all of the more traditional photos taken at their wedding, she also really wanted lots of the creative and whimsical photos “that are very (once like a spark) too.” Ok, GUSH ALERT. We really can’t say enough to you all how much it means to us to hear that you love our OLAS aesthetic of classic beauty with touches of art and whimsy. We work so, so hard to make your photographs not only beautiful, but we want them to stand out and literally take your breath away. We say it all the time, but we’ll say it again, because it’s so true: we have the VERY BEST clients. Thank you for choosing OLAS! xoxo

Hello dear OLAS family!
We hope you’ve all been enjoying the unseasonable heat wave the whole country seems to be experiencing! Crazy right? Speaking of heat waves, we’re so happy to share Carrie + Chris’s red-hot-romantic GA wedding with you today (like what we did there?). :) Carrie knew early on in the wedding planning process that she was going to use red as her statement color, which we think is such a great choice for weddings – it can be fun, dramatic, romantic, what have you! It’s all about the way you decide to use it. Carrie pulled this off flawlessly, using it to give her wedding both an intimate and romantic feel. Here are a few ways how:
1. Those SHOES! Obviously, first, we’ve got to mention the shoes (uh, gorgeous!). We love that C chose to go with a fun pop of color for her shoes – a little “peek-a-boo” of red if you will.
2. Red Roses = Romance. There’s no question red roses are the flower known ’round the world to exude romance. 189 million stems of roses are sold in the U.S. on Valentine’s Day alone, and 1.2 billion throughout the year! We’d definitely say that roses are always a great choice if you’re trying to create a romantic feel for your wedding. If Carrie was going for a more flirty & playful vibe, she might have chosen a different flower in red, say gerber daisies for instance. It’s all about how you decide to use it!
3. Long, draped, bridesmaids dresses (in red of course!). Nothing says romance like a beautiful, flowy red dress. The chiffon dresses Carrie chose feel absolutely effortless, while still leaving a big romantic impression.
P.S. Be on the look out for Part 2 coming soon! Also, don’t you just love how our SoCal photog phenom, Tracy (who flew to GA just for C + C’s special day), found her own little accents of red to photograph the details? She’s amazing :)
