Jessica + Greg – Wedding
Jessica and Greg were married on the first day of May in Mobile, Alabama. We’re swooning over these beautifully bright, fresh, and clean pictures taken by Sara of our Southeast team – hey, speaking of bright, fresh, and clean, Greg is a dentist and Jessica is a dental hygienist, and the entire wedding was scattered with adorable “dental” details – including toothbrushes as guest favors!!
These two lovebirds were married at the stately St. Joseph Chapel at Spring Hill College, and the reception was held at the equally beautiful Bragg Mitchell Mansion. The natural light in all of these images is to die for (especially in the “getting ready” sequence below – those windows!), and perfectly illuminates a spectacular May 1st wedding. These getting ready shots are some of our favorite of all time – not only are the high windows and the accompanying light incredible, but we love Jessica’s dress, her shoes, the sparkle in her eye that is exclusive to glowing brides…gorgeous!

Renee and Boone are another OLAS couple who we have been so fortunate to photograph both their engagement session and wedding. We headed to Roswell, Georgia to shoot the couple’s absolutely stunning wedding, and were so happy to be able to see (and photograph) these two lovebirds again. Renee is an interior designer, so of course their wedding was filled with beautiful and elegant details that we couldn’t help but love.
Their wedding took place at an incredibly gorgeous old house, which we think adds a certain grandeur to their pictures. Renee went to Georgia and Boone went to Tennessee, so a little rivalry also played into their big day (but we’re partial…Go Dawgs!) Emily + Steve – Engagement
We can’t help but drool and go gooey-eyed over this recent engagement session of the precious Emily and Steve, shot by our très talented Southeast photographer, Sara (southeast.oncelikeaspark.com). Star Provisions in Atlanta proved to be a great backdrop for these gorgeous pictures, and showcases Emily and Steve’s sweet story, too – not only are they planning a wedding in the heart of the city, but they started dating shortly before they both graduated from the University of Alabama, and it was by sheer coincidence (or fate!) that they both had plans to move to Atlanta at around the same time. Melissa + Andy – Wedding
Melissa and Andy were married at the exquisite Birmingham Botanical Gardens in Mountain Brook, Alabama. Their intimate garden wedding was positively teeming with rich, beautiful colors (love the purple bridesmaid dresses!), cascades of sunlight, and a certain ’50s vintage glam that many strive for, but few achieve. Melissa and Andy were high school sweethearts, and they are both adorable all around (doesn’t Melissa look just like Anne Hathaway?!?! Doppelganger!). They said their vows in front of a beautiful looking-glass pond, which made for some pretty sweet shots, as did the lush flora and unique architecture of the structures around the gardens. Melissa and Andy did this gorgeous garden wedding the right way, and it was a joy to be a part of their lovely day. Mandi + Scott – Wedding
We first met Mandi and Scott in Atlanta when OLAS shot the couple’s engagement session. We fell in love with these two (not to mention Mandi’s precious yorkie), and were so thrilled to be able to shoot their wedding on the Isle of Palms near Charleston, SC. Mandi and Scott’s big day was filled with little details brimming with Southern charm — things that really made this wedding stand out. From the Tory Burch heart sandals to the brightly colored parasols to the Lilly Pulitzer bridesmaids dresses, every detail worked perfectly together to create this spectacular day. And we really do need to mention that the sky was insanely blue, which complimented all of their amazing color choices.

Sabrinna – Portraits
We met Sabrinna for a portrait shoot and knew immediately that we would click (pun intended). We were so happy when we found out she was going to fly up from Miami to spend the day with OLAS. Her super amazing personality and absolutely stunning dress were the perfect contrast with the urban setting where most of her pictures were taken. The broken windowed backdrop gave us a gorgeous reflection of a perfectly sunny day, and Sabrinna was more than ready to get some amazing shots.
