Britney + Mitch – Wedding

Exciting new, OLAS friends!  Parts of (once like a spark) are now being brought to you from the streets of New York City (well actually, a Starbucks on 2nd), where I (OLAS art director, Lauren) recently followed my dreams and moved to a little two bedroom on the Upper East Side! This New York City is a pretty creative place, and so I’m so excited that my experience of living amidst such amazing art and culture will merge with my work with OLAS.

So now for my FIRST NYC blog posting…

The adorable Britney and Mitch wanted a bright, colorful and fun-filled wedding.  These two lovebirds tied the knot on a beautiful altar by the sea surrounded by  their closest family and friends.  Shot by our dynamic West Coast team, Ashley and Chris, this wedding was filled with incredible moments of laughter and love, and we think Ashley and Chris did a pretty phenomenal job of documenting the day.  As Britney mentioned, “we want the genuine moments;” and we think they got some pretty brilliant ones, at that.  Take a look at some of our favorites, and as always, be sure to check out Britney and Mitch’s slideshow (to some snazzy music, no less!), here.

That cutie little one is Britney’s little sister!  And I love the one of Britney and her grandfather, who walked her down the aisle:

I only wish I could have been able to hear what Mitch had to say to Britney during their vows, but judging from this picture, it was obviously something super cute and funny:

And apparently Britney’s sister thought it was pretty adorable, too

We love these little moments captured at the reception.  That’s what (once like a spark) does best!  Captures those moments that are so fleeting, so beautiful, they just fill you with such joy.

Here’s another one of those fleeting, incredibly beautiful moments.  This one just makes me so happy.

And then again, we also do the fleeting, amazingly fun action/garter toss shots pretty well too

I adore the look on Mitch’s face.  You can definitely tell how happy and in love they are.

Congratulations again, Britney and Mitch!  We feel so blessed that you chose Ashley and Chris and (once like a spark) to document your amazingly beautiful, special day!
