Quynh + Eric:Wedding Sneak Peek:Vietnamese-American Wedding with Nikki
Today we’re bringing you a sneak peek of Qunyh and Eric’s GORGEOUS wedding weekend (yes, we said weekend!), shot by our absolutely amazing Nikki. You may remember Quynh + Eric’s engagement photos, which we featured here, and their precious love story. We are so honored to be a part of their extravaganza, and are seriously loving all of the intercultural traditions that were incorporated into their big day(s!) On Friday, Quynh and Eric exchanged vows in a outdoor area of the Atrium outside Atlanta, followed by a brief mini-reception/rehearsal dinner event. Saturday morning, this couple began with the Vietnamese traditions – the groomsmen and groom’s side of the family made the trek to Quynh’s parents house for a traditional tea ceremony, where they brought gifts for Quynh’s family. Saturday night it was time to majorly celebrate at Happy Valley – a huge banquent hall with a 7 course meal! We feel so blessed to have been a part of this beautiful event, and we’re excited to show off just a few of our favorite shots. Happy Monday (once like a spark) photography family! We’re bringing you another sneak peek today, this one of Janet + Scott’s Massachusetts wedding, shot by our New England photographer, Graham. Janet and Scott got married at the gorgeous Robert Treat Paine Estate in Waltham, and this amazing couple incorporated a map theme into their big day. Janet and Scott actually met while living abroad as Peace Corps volunteers – in fact, their officiant was actually a fellow volunteer they met while living abroad! They started their relationship while living abroad, traveled a lot while living abroad, and have made traveling a priority as they begin their lives together, so the maps are a perfect symbol of their love for travel! Nicole + John::Athens, GA Wedding::UGA Campus
The (once like a spark) photography blog is headed down to good ole Athens, GA today to bring you Nicole + John’s stunning wedding! We love this precious couple, and love that their wedding day soiree was all about bringing their loved ones today to the same place in the same moment in time – it’s really so much of what a wedding day is all about, isn’t it? Nicole describes it beautifully, so I’ll let this gorgeous bride do all the talking! 
“Our wedding is special because it is a really rare opportunity for us to have the people we love the most all in the same place at the same time. I am from Georgia and John is from Philadelphia so we don’t have a lot of overlap, so this will be a really special opportunity for us. Ideally we want our wedding to be about family and celebrating and enjoying the beautiful city of Athens and this beautiful moment in our lives. We are generally keeping things casual and laid back, as neither one of us is terribly fussy with this kind of stuff. Just looking forward to seeing all the faces we love in the same place with us. We met almost 10 years ago through mutual friends. He went to Loyola College in Baltimore and I went to UGA in Athens, and our groups of friends would take road trips to visit each other every year. After I finished grad school in 2008, I got a job offer in Philadelphia and decided to make the big move. The rest, as they say, is history. Since we met, we have always been happiest on the days when we would actually get to see each other, and now we will see each other every day. I think we’re both extremely grateful that the long and winding road of our friendship somehow managed to lead us here. My engagement ring belonged to my mother, who passed away when I was 16. My sisters helped me pick it out from her jewelry box. My necklace is the diamond John proposed with, since I already had a ring!”

Evie + Carl::Atlanta Wedding Sneak Peek with Jen::Perimeter Church and Country Club of Roswell
It’s another wedding sneak peek, this one from Evie + Carl’s beautiful wedding day shot by our amazing Jen just a couple of short weeks ago. We love Evie + Carl’s love story – let’s just say that their first week getting to know each other involved 19 hours talking on the phone (SO cute!), and two weeks later Carl told Evie he knew he wanted to marry her. Sigh. We love love. Evie + Carl got married in a brand new chapel at Perimeter Church in Atlanta, with a gorgeous reception following at the Country Club of Roswell – how much are we loving these dancing shots? It’s our favorite time here at (once like a spark) photography….sneak peek time! Today we’re bringing you a sneak peek of LeeAnn and Robert’s wedding that is oh-so-Chicago is just about every way. Our Chicago photographic phenom, Isaac, did an incredible job with LeeAnn + Robert’s big day. The skyline Chicago and Lake Michigan are the perfect backdrops for gorgeous wedding photos, and we are loving how Isaac really used the architecture and surroundings to create some super cool photos. LeeAnn and Robert met through a small group at their church, and after SEVERAL missteps in trying to reach out to her (we’re talking multiple wrong email addresses here people), Robert finally figured out how to contact LeeAnn, and the rest is history! LeeAnn and Robert’s beautiful wedding was held on Promontory Point, a beautiful peninsula jutting into Lake Michigan.
