Hello OLAS lovelies! Today we are beyond thrilled to be bringing you a sneak peek of Kristen + Chad’s gorgeous California wedding! K + C were married at the Hyatt Regency in Santa Clara, CA, and everything down to the last detail was absolutely exquisite. Kristen’s Mom made everything from the invitations, to the favors to… you name it! That’s what we like to call a wonder woman around here. :) K + C met through a few mutual friends, and with their shared love of both cars & photography, finally started to spend some time together on their own. The rest as they say, is history! Kristen has dreamed of her wedding day since she was a little girl with visions of laughter, dancing, and lots of fun with all of her most dear, and we’d say this gorgeous June day definitely lived up to all those expectations. Michael truly captured all of the love, and it’s portrayed in the photos with such an effortless beauty. 5 things we’re totally loving from K + C’s wedding day?
1. Literally, ALL of the getting ready photos. Kristen.you.are.gorgeous!! Those veil shots are to die for.
2. Ok, this might be on our list every time… but flowers girls are just way too precious not to be!
3. The lace manicured detail on Kristen’s ring finger! Such a fun and unique little detail.
4. The couples shots with the grand piano – lovelovelove.
5. Money dances & money necklaces & dolla’ dolla’ bills y’all! Sorry, we had to ;) But really, it just doesn’t get much better than that!
Kristen + Chad, we are so thankful for you! We hope you love your wedding sneak peek, and we can’t wait to share the rest with you super soon!! xoxo!

It’s not too often that we run into a bride and groom who first met because the bride’s mom introduced them, but that is exactly what happened with the precious Kristen + Chris!! Kristen says that Chris and her mom used to work together at Atlantic Southeast Airlines, and when Kristen went to see her mother for lunch one day, she was introduced to Chris, briefly. A few weeks, e-mails, phone calls, later, Chris + Kristen finally went out on a first date. According to Kristen, it felt very much like a blind date since they had only met each other once so briefly before! Four and half years later, they are hitched! In our eyes, their first date – which consisted of dinner, mini-golf, and a movie – was just like a little preview of their wedding, because both occasions were completely and totally classic, and classy, too! Our Southeast photographer phenom Paige captured their beautiful and elegant cream and blue wedding in her normal gorgeous way. Here’s our top 5 from Kristen + Chris’s wedding:
1. Alright, folks, it’s rainy season! Just like our other recent Editor’s Choice couples (Amanda + Charles and Allison + Daniel), Kristen + Chris didn’t let a little bit of rain get them down, at all! Despite what Alanis Morissette might want you to believe, rain on your wedding day REALLY isn’t such a bad thing. Paige still managed to capture some seriously stunning portraits of these two, and most importantly, Kristen + Chris didn’t let a little precipitation get in their way of one of the best days of their lives.
2.The flower girl!! Ummm, how cute is she being shy and covering her face as she walks down the aisle? Sooooo cute! If any brides out there are worried that their young flowergirls might not make it down the aisle without some kind of mishap or meltdown, fret not! The photos, like this one below, will be priceless!
3. YMCA. With costumes. Need we say more?
4. Tears of joy during the ceremony from family members. We always love a good, happy cry over here at OLAS.
5. The glowsticks during the reception!! Can’t you just tell from looking at these photos how much fun everyone had? Love!
Kristen + Chris, thank you so much for letting us be a part of your amazing day!! xoxo

*Gush alert:: we love love LOVE our OLAS clients!!!* Not only are they all so stinkin’ creative and talented, but they have the very best attitudes and outlook when things like rain threaten to get in their way. Perfect example? The loveliest bride you’ve ever seen (and her groom’s not too bad either!), Amanda & Charles. Their wedding ceremony and reception was located next to a lake at the Pointes West Army Resort, and the weather forecast called for rain, rain, and then some more rain. A + C were such champs – we swear you’d never know that this wasn’t all part of their master plan! They handled all the changes with such ease and grace, and their wedding photos show just how much fun this adorable couple truly is. Nikki did a GORGEOUS job capturing every single detail (we’re loving the cowboy boots & “groom’s day of survival kit”!), and we’re so thankful to have been a part of it all. xoxo, A + C!

When Allison + Daniel faced a bit of rain during their beautiful wedding at Windermere Golf Club, they didn’t let it get them down or get in the way of their big day for even a hot minute. No bride or groom wishes for rain, but when it happened, Allison + Daniel did it the right way – they used the rain to their advantage, maintained amazing attitudes, and pulled off a gorgeous, fun wedding celebrating with all of their family and friends. Our incredible photographer Tyler also handled the rain like a champ – he didn’t let it stop him from getting some gorgeous photos outside featuring the beautiful golf club, and he also got creative with some umbrella shots (which we LOVE!).
Allison + Daniel met during their freshman year of college at UGA. During their sophomore year, Allison began to hang out with Daniel and his group of friends. She says that it took lots of Xbox playing and late-night dinners, but before too long, they both realized that they really cared about each other. Fast forward five years, and they are now Mr. and Mrs. As the place where it all began, Athens will always have a special place in this sweet couple’s hearts. Allison + Daniel, thank you so much for letting us be a part of your beautiful, super fun wedding!
Happy Monday OLAS lovelies! We’re so excited to share Diana + Michael’s chic Atlanta wedding with you all today! You’ll remember D + M from their gorgeous and super fun engagement session posted here, and we are so thrilled to have been a part of their wedding day as well. Our always-amazing-Nikki met up with them at The Atrium in Atlanta, GA to get some stunning photos in and around the venue, and document their intimate spring wedding. It was chic, elegant, and stylish – just like the two of them! The lovebirds met while working together, which is how D ended up joining M’s “Tough Mudder” team. The plan was that she was going to make him into a runner, and he was going to teach her how to do a pull-up. ;) They worked out together a few times, but before the race took place, D ended up leaving the company they both worked for and moved to Oklahoma to be with her family for a period of time. Before she left, they had never done anything alone, gone on a date, and had barely even flirted(!), but they talked all the time while she was away and fell in love long distance. Talk about a precious love story. Diana + Michael, we’re so thankful for you! xoxo!
