Alexa + Demetrius – Wedding
Teachers hold a special place in all of our hearts (our team is made up of some former teachers!) , and so we all knew we were going to love Alexa and Demetrius from the moment we started working with them. Alexa and Demetrius are both teachers – she teaches elementary school and he teaches art, and we loved, loved, loved all of the ways they built their passions into their absolutely beautiful wedding day (read on for details!) Graham joined these lovebirds for their April wedding day in Boston at the beautiful Cambridge Multicultural Arts Center, and we’ve all been swooning over their uber-bright, whimsical wedding day. Alexa and Demetrius weren’t scared to use bright, bold colors through every detail of their big day…after all, he is an art teacher! They used beautiful deep purples and bright greens and blues in everything from the wraps for the girls, to Alexa’s jewelry, to their reception and floral design. Alexa and Demetrius actually invited all of her students to the wedding (which we LOVE) and included them as part of the recessional – they walked out down the aisle after the family did. We LOVE. And the desserts. Oh, the desserts. Check ‘em out, and take special notice of the AH-MAZE-ING cake topper – Demetrius made it himself! We KNOW! Killer.
